The YMI Program

The YMI Stress Prevention Program is unlike any other team-building, leadership, stress-management, or wellness program you’ve experienced. This is a practical, engaged experience that follows a simple structure over the course of 8 lessons.

There’s no listening to speakers, reading books, or attempting to emulate any type of therapy. Instead, participants are led through a training methodology that helps them make changes virtually in the moment.

Each of the 8 lessons is comprised of:

  • A short meditation practice, which teaches people why and how to work on focusing their attention

  • An intentional breath-to-movement training, which guides people of all physical abilities to a state of calm and improved parasympathetic response

  • A brief reading and discussion on a mindfulness topic, which allows participants to explore their reactive behaviors and ways to control them

What’s Required

  • 5-15 people

  • A desire to address the problem

  • A commitment to attend

  • A willingness to participate

What Isn’t Required

  • Extensive time off work

  • Lots of outside reading or homework

  • Physical fitness (we’ll guide you there!)

  • Any previous experience
